OUR STUDIO

KAAIAA Studio opened in 2025 when Leah saw a distinct gap in the market around servicing the needs of women just like her; women approaching middle-age, tired of seeing generic training programs, and frustrated with the lack of personalised guidance.

It was designed with one objective in mind; to provide a safe space for women to reach their full potential. We didn’t want to be just another fitness studio. We wanted to create an environment that nurtured and supported our community, and provide everything they needed to do it

From our state-of-the-art sound system and world-class equipment, to our beautifully appointed spaces and thoughtfully curated workshops, the KAAIAA Studio is a sanctuary where we work hard, feel deeply, and connect passionately.

We have hand-picked and trained some of the finest, most experienced instructors around. Personally trained by KAAIAA Founder, Leah Simmons, our instructors are skilled in understanding and safely guiding our clients through all stages of their health and wellness journeys.

  • ABI MULLEN

    STRENGTH/CONDITIONING TRAINER

    Abi is a qualified Personal Trainer and Exercise Leader with 6 years of experience within the industry. With certifications in strength and resistance training, cardio conditioning and Pilates, Abi’s training philosophy is that fitness is for everyone and is as much about our mental wellbeing as it is about our physical health. She strives to make all sessions accessible and enjoyable for anyone and endeavours to help each participant move beyond their perceived limitations and discover their true potential, one class at a time.

    STRENGTH/CONDITIONING TRAINER

    Sarhys Page, a renowned personal trainer and fitness expert in Australia, is celebrated for her comedic and relatable approach to exercise. Her body-positive fitness method has garnered a high-profile clientele, including celebrities like Jesinta Franklin and Roxy Jacenko, and national media coverage. She’s passionate about motivating others and shares her life, including her sobriety and love for vegan cooking, with a rapidly growing social media audience, along with moments featuring her Staffy, Roman.

  • MICHELLE POY

    STRENGTH/CONDITIONING TRAINER

    Michelle has a Diploma Remedial Massage, Cert 4 Personal trainer, Metafit and Metapwr Coach, Diploma Nutrition for fitness professionals. Her career is dedicated to sharing her lifelong passion for fitness with others. She works individually with her clients to develop training tailored to help them achieve their personal health and fitness goals. She enjoys this challenge and watching clients become more confident as they (and their friends) notice the physical changes brought on by consistency and commitment.

  • NORMA NELSON

    MOVEMENT/MOBILITY TRAINER

    Norma grew up in London and has a deep passion for music, architecture, travel, motorbikes & of course MOVEMENT. She found herself settling in Thailand for a number of years, where she discovered her passion for teaching. Norma then completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 and since then has added several other modules to her portfolio. Norma’s style of teaching is strong and creative; taming one’s busy mind and cultivating a larger and more appreciative view of things as they are… all to the background sounds of phenomenal beats!

  • YAHEL GIDON

    MOVEMENT/MOBILITY TRAINER

    Yahel is a certified Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Rocket, Mat Pilates and Flexibility Instructor. Her classes involve different types of yoga (hatha, ashtanga, dharma, vinyasa and rocket) and can range from soft, restorative practices to heat-inducing power yoga. Don’t be fooled by her softly-spoken approach! Yahel’s classes are targeted, specific and powerful. Yahel loves to focus on mobility and strength, teaching people how to be upside down, and to release fear and surrender to the practice.

  • TAMARA DARAN-GOWER

    YOGA TEACHER

    Tamara is no stranger to busyness. Having spent her adult years in the Corporate world, Tamara became passionate about learning and teaching skills to help others navigate through the many demands of modern life. She believes it is imperative to include restorative practices into our health and wellness routine, and has a deep love for Yoga, Energy Healing and Meditation. Tamara is trained in Vinyasa, Trauma-Informed Yin & Yoga Assists and is an energy practitioner in both awareness based healing and Reiki.
